With reluctance, we must stop sending out our programmes on memory sticks until restrictions are lifted. There has been a surge in the pandemic locally, many of our volunteers are in the high risk category, and we have a duty to protect them. We will continue to record the programmes from our homes as we have done throughout the pandemic.

Programmes can be listened to on our website ("Latest Edition" page), via the British Wireless for the Blind (BWBF) App on smartphones, and Alexa. We look forward to better days ahead when we can reinstate full service.

CHICHESTER AREA TALKING NEWS VISIT THE CATHEDRAL CHORISTERS

Chichester Area Talking News (CATN) has recorded interviews with some of the Chichester Cathedral Choristers for the CATN Insight magazine - to be delivered to listeners in June.

In a break in the Saturday morning practice, up in the Cathedral Chapter House, Geoffrey Archer interviewed four choristers about their life in the Cathedral, singing with other choirs, and how they enjoyed a very busy school life.

Geoffrey also interviewed Organist and Master of the Choristers Charles Harrison about how choristers were chosen and their life in and around the Cathedral.

Sue Rotherham

It is with great sadness that we have to report the death of Sue Rotherham at the age of 99 years.   Sue was a driving force for CATN for more than 35 years.   Whether as Chairman, Vice-President or President of the Chichester Area Talking News, she had a leading role in the CATN success story.
