On Thursday 20 October 2022, Talking News held its Annual General Meeting in Oving Village Hall. There was good attendance from Listeners, Carers, Volunteers and other supporters to hear an address by the Deputy Mayor of Chichester, Councillor Richard Plowman and our President, Councillor Anne Scicluna. At the meeting Dick Bunker, who has been the Chairman for three years, handed over to his successor, Ken Pritchard. Ken had been Vice Chairman, and Bob Money has now filled that position. Also at the meeting, a presentation was made to Eileen Raven, who has been a longstanding volunteer with Talking News in many different roles. After the business of the AGM, a light lunch was served and Sheila Forsyth ran a very successful raffle before everyone settled into their seats to enjoy sea shanties and traditional folk songs from The Estuary Men.
